Account Manager

An opportunity exists for an Account Manager in our NY office supporting our clients and engagements.


The role of an Account Manager is to maximize the effectiveness of Partner led client teams in order to deliver exceptional client service and win new clients. Account Managers are the key point of contact with clients and engagement teams.


Main Accountabilities

Client Development

·         Lead planning and project management for new client development

·         Produce client sales materials and business proposals

·         Track business development activity

·         Research prospective new clients and provide pre-meeting briefs

·         Orchestrate client development events and 'market visits' for Partners


Client Service

·         Lead logistics execution of client workshops from securing dates / resources

·         Organize venues and on site requirements through post-project evaluations

·         Occasional support to client workshops on site – both domestic and international (2 to 4 days each)

·         Create client-facing output documents post-workshop

·         Report on client engagement status internally and to clients on a regular basis

·         Ensure client and MR contractual obligations are met



·         Produce proposals and contract pricing

·         Produce and issue invoices to clients, chase payment

·         Work with Finance team on month-end, year-end closures as related to client revenue (ensure audit ready)

·         Perform client margin analysis in conjunction with Finance

·         Act as point person for Finance and Partner/Consultant team on credit control, margin, and other related issues



·         Share phone answering and other office responsibilities with office team

·         Book travel and submit expenses through internal system

·         Manage calendar scheduling cross time zone


Required Experience & Skills (Education/Skills)

·         Bachelor’s Degree

·         Strong PowerPoint and Excel knowledge

·         Proven experience leading/managing projects

·         Experience with online research and basic analysis and interpret and present data


Preferred Qualifications

·         SalesForce.com / SharePoint experience

·         Proactive self-starter

·         Excellent at multi-tasking and time management

·         Strong attention to detail

·         Able to interface with a variety of personalities and levels of seniority

·         High energy and Passion
