Job Summary
This position is primarily responsible for providing technical training to Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Ram, FIAT® and Alfa Romeo dealership personnel in the application of automotive technologies and process. This includes theoretical and hands-on diagnostic, maintenance and repair procedures and the individual will leverage a wide range of blended learning options to deliver the training content. The role will also have access to company training vehicles to become well-versed on products.
The training center position is in Montreal Quebec, and this position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, facility maintenance, accurate student scheduling and maintenance of classes through the Learning Management System [LMS(Cornerstone in 2024. The candidate must be eligible to travel throughout Canada, collaborating with other area training managers, and must have a valid passport to also travel to the United States for T3 (Train the Trainer) training.
Key Responsibilities
· Be an advocate for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, FIAT, Alfa Romeo brands
- Provide technical instruction based on specified service training curriculum for technicians
- Participate in and plan a continuous 1-month rolling service training schedule, which includes entering the schedules in the Learning Management System (LMS) (Cornerstone) and closing rosters after every class
- Assist in the review, maintenance and development of curriculum, specific courses and technical education methods (Zoom, Teams, LMS, Cornerstone and more)
- Assist in the determination of core competencies, training needs and development of training action plans for dealership staff
- Manage the training center day-to-day operations and maintaining assets, such as (but not limited to) vehicles, equipment, storage and security procedures
Required Qualifications
· College diploma and/or equivalent work experience
- Provincial Technician’s License or Interprovincial License must be held by the applicant
- 5+ years' experience in a technical automotive position within an OEM
- Highly competent facilitation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and well organized – a continuous student of automotive technology
- Adept computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite
- Team player with the ability to build and sustain credibility with dealer and internal teams
- Must have a valid passport to travel between Canada and the United States
- A great attitude and proven ability to be an effective team leader and collaborator
- Must have the ability to work off standard hours, as required

· Bi-lingual French and English language
