Are you a Consultant looking for a new and exciting challenge?
As a Consultant within McKinney Rogers / GP Strategies, you will build great client relationships by delivering project work-streams and supporting business development activities with new and existing clients.
Consultants are additionally responsible for:
  • Coaching and mentoring  Client Service and Technology professionals to develop our capabilities as the global leader in business execution
  • Execute flawlessly, lead change & create a high performance culture
  • Translate client needs into quality business execution solutions to transform financial, leadership and organizational performance




  • Recognized internally and by clients as a high potential leader in business execution theory and practice
  • Develops and motivates a high performing team of client service and technology professionals
  • Ensures consistent quality for all delivery capabilities and maintains world class standards
  • Generates at least $500k sales annually in client revenue from new and existing clients
  • Supports Partners and Principal Consultants in developing a portfolio of key clients
  • Conducts research & analysis of target clients and sectors to develop knowledge and identify market opportunities
  • Accountable for the delivery of personal Mission and Measures of Success
  • Supports the development of proposals and supports Partners across the bid management cycle to win high value engagements
  • Stays informed of the business execution market to identify opportunities for MR
  • Monitors local competitor activity to maintain competitive advantage
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge in at least one sector and expertise in a primary management function (Strategy, Marketing, Distribution, Finance, HR)
  • Forms & leverages external networks to drive awareness of MR brand
  • Project manages delivery of client work-streams in support of Principal Consultants and Partners
  • Develops creative business execution solutions to address complex client issues
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge & understanding of the end to end MR Business Execution operating system
  • Promotes the benefits and use of performance management technology as an enabler of Mission Leadership to drive performance
  • Total commitment to achieving the Client Mission through outstanding delivery
  • Drives execution mind set  internally and with clients through personal commitment & application of Mission Leadership philosophy
Skills & Experience:
  • Experience of leading people – developing, coaching and mentoring teams to advance their careers
  • Strong and well developed problem solving skills
  • Previous military leadership experience highly desirable
  • Clear measurable evidence of having succeeded in challenging situations and delivering results
  • Track record of leading and pulling together teams and delivering substantial achievements through inspirational leadership
  • Degree level or equivalent - Advanced degree (preferably MBA) is an advantage
  • Fluency in English - Fluency in a second language is preferred  
  • Ability to work under pressure and in difficult surroundings
  • Successful networker and able to build long term relationships
  • A passion for quality and delivery with strong attention to detail
  • Adept at finding solutions to complex problems
