Job Summary

The Instructor SST teaches courses for customers regarding features and operation of products, equipment, train employees in NR35 and business processes as determined by the needs of the client, as well as research and customize the material and documentation used.

Main Activities:

• Demonstrates a fundamental understanding of operation of products, equipment, and business processes.
• Demonstrates appropriate public speaking, communication and audience motivation skills.
• Determines how end users will best learn training content.
• Collaborates with client to review existing training course materials and refine course delivery for specific audiences to achieve training objectives.
• Conducts quality review of data created to support course delivery.
• Sets a positive tone for the training, including clearly setting expectations for the course, encouraging participation, and using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Monitors class evaluations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provides sales support activities as deemed appropriate.

Qualifications

• Technical training in Occupational Safety, with registration with the MTE
• Training in Safety at Height - NR-35
• Training in Electrical Safety - NR-10
• At least 5 years' experience as an NR35 instructor
• Experience on poles (electricity companies, NR35 training companies, telephone/internet companies) and/or telecom towers
• Must know office suite, especially Power Point, Excel and Teams. Knowledge of ZOOM desirable.
• Willing to travel frequently.
