An IT Cloud Infrastructure Analyst role is a high-level technical position within GP Strategies. In this role you will be exposed to a broad range of Azure/AWS/SaaS/IaaS/PaaS challenges both for internal corporate service (supporting the business) as well as client deliverable services.  You will collaborate with a dedicated, high-velocity, hardworking team that shares ideas, empowering you to take ownership of challenges and deliver consistently utilizing the ever-evolving cloud-based platforms.  A great investigative mind for problem solving and a thirst for embracing new technologies will be a fantastic fit to join others in our global team with the same mindset.  We are seeking individuals with expertise in the Microsoft Azure and AWS Cloud platforms, as well as Microsoft 365. Ideal candidates will have 5 years or more of experience, including proficiency in deploying and supporting both Windows and Linux servers.

Job Requirements:

  • Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure based solutions including Function Apps, Web Apps, Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, FrontDoor, Storage Accounts, Network Security Groups, Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, and DNS.
  • Support and manage Microsoft Azure base solutions utilizing Log Analytics Workspace, Azure Monitor, Azure policy, and Azure Secure Score.
  • Deploy/Manage Windows Server including Active Directory, CA (certificate authority), DNS, DFS, NPS, and IIS.
  • Automation of solutions and platform management: PowerShell scripts, Azure PowerShell, Function Apps.
  • Management of Cisco Meraki cloud managed network infrastructure equipment.
  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS based solutions including: EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFront, Organizations, Security Hub.
  • Deploy/Manage Linux (CentOS/Ubuntu/Rocky) servers including managing disks / partitioning, log management, Apache2 configuration, NGINX, bash/python scripts, SSH/SFTP, Cron, and applications such as Postfix, Squid Proxy, and HA Proxy.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with a global team and business leaders demonstrating excellent internal customer service skills.
  • Professional documentation of solutions using Atlassian Confluence.
  • Be involved in critical incident resolution including security incidents.
  • Be flexible for working with other time zones, during incident resolution, or for solution deployment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and being able to adapt to changing requirements.
  • Ability to deliver on multiple tasks/initiatives concurrently, estimate delivery timeframes, and then meet those timeframe expectations.
  • Excellent communication & organization skills.
  • Work experience in designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure resources.
  • Azure certifications, for example: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-303, AZ-304)
  • Windows Server Experience
  • Automation Experience
  • PowerShell Script experience, beyond single line commands.
  • Technical Documentation Experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Meraki experience.
  • Work experience in designing, deploying, and managing AWS infrastructure resources.
  • Linux experience (CentOS/Ubuntu/Rocky) along with Linux hosted applications.
  • Evidence of higher learning, such as a bachelor's degree would be preferred.
