Job Summary

Training

·        Deliver theoretical and practical automotive technical training

·        Conduct hands-on training and assessment for practical skills, either 1:1 or in small groups

·        Prepare and coach technicians for skills assessment interview and examination

·        Maintain a continuous awareness of all requirements associated with assigned courses, completing all new e-Learning requirements published by the client

·        Use LMS to monitor and maintain the quality of the training provision

·        Continue professional development formally through self-study and monitoring training satisfaction survey results

·        Support the maintenance and safe keeping of training tools and IT equipment in the Training Centre

·        Report equipment maintenance / recalibration requirements.

Quality / Health & Safety (H&S)

·        Is aware of Evacuation Plan and Emergency Contacts

·        Rigorously follows Health & Safety procedures

·        Highlights and explains Health & Safety procedures to learners and monitors learners’ safety behaviour throughout training

·        Identifies and takes immediate action to mitigate risks

  • Immediately reports accidents, near misses and hazards to Facility Management

Qualifications

·        3+ years’ experience as a Technical Aftersales trainer or minimum 5 years working experience in a modern automotive dealership with 12 months of technical training delivery

·        Experience of delivering technical training in the areas of Drivetrain, Electrical, Interface, Chassis

·        Proficient in MS Office suite

·        Excellent soft skills (e.g., communication, social, respect for different cultures etc.)

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

·        Media competences (VCT, handling modern media e.g., flipcharts, PIN board)

·        High coaching competences (the ability to guide others in reflection and self-knowledge)

·        Passion to deliver high quality delegated focused training which meet the local market.

·        Self-starter and driven
