The GP Strategies Leadership and Advisory Services Group is a leading provider of human and operational performance improvement solutions that help employers maximize the return on their investments in people, processes, technology, knowledge, and customers.  The Leadership and Advisory Services Group is currently looking for a Principal Organizational Effectiveness Consultant.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for developing and executing the strategic direction of key GP consulting services. Responsible for providing a full range of professional consulting activities, including but not limited to: Leading others was well as working independently to develop business performance improvement strategies and tactical plans to support key business initiatives, coaching front-line and executive sponsors, effectively working in geographically dispersed organizations, providing strategic alignment and program governance, as well as stakeholder, benefits, and program lifecycle management for complexity, solution-focused transitional programs. Key focus for this role will be providing consultative services associated with organizational performance solutions aligned to the following areas: Organization Design, Change Management, Engagement, and Sales Enablement.  


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Relationship Responsibilities

·       Able to establish meaningful, collaborative relationships with executive client decision makers

·       Able to work cross-functionally to influence decisions and actions

·       Establish an internal network of relationships to foster growth

·       Effective at time management and prioritizing workload

·       Able to grow and develop team of consultants

Consulting Responsibilities

·       Must be able to effectively lead consulting engagements with client teams in support of transformational activities

·       Evaluate and screen business issues or business change initiatives to determine the need for performance analysis/diagnosis

·       Able to conduct detailed performance analysis to diagnose and understand full range effect of performance enablers on the client challenge

·       Effectively conduct stakeholder and executive sessions to build and gain alignment on recommended interventions

·       Work with clients to implement strategic organizational performance improvement interventions

·       Collaborate with multiple organizational functions to ensure transformation activities are successfully executed

·       Implement and maintain measurement and evaluation programs to measure client business impact of interventions

·       Manage project financials and adhere to weekly reporting requirements 

Sales Responsibilities

·       Must be a self-starter, resourceful, and be able to effectively manage multiple tasks at any given time

·       Can quickly come up to speed on and effectively represent GP Strategies’ service portfolio to customers

·       Lead initial interactions with business stakeholders, assess the situation, and align on a recommended engagement approach

·       Support internal account executives in connecting with key executives outside of HR to enhance GP’s value proposition for target customers 

·       Effectively advocate the value of performance analysis and diagnostics

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

·       Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related work experience

·       Proven experience in the Human Performance Improvement field

·       Broad knowledge of performance interventions

·       Technological awareness and understanding

·       Demonstrated project and program management experience

·       Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Agile ways of working/collaboration

·       Working knowledge of Organizational Development interventions

·       An understanding of organizational dynamics

·       Effective communication skills

·       Demonstrated leadership skills

·       Demonstrated facilitation skills

·       Demonstrated ability to design and develop customized consulting interventions that align to and support the specific needs of the customer

·       Remote, Work from Home opportunity

·       Applicants should be willing to travel on a weekly basis and should anticipate 75% travel on average (US and travel abroad as required)

·       Computer skills including MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project and learning industry technology solutions

 Qualifications Desired:

·       Experienced developing business cases and return on investment models

·       Business Consulting (External or Internal) experience

·       Data Analytics

·       Experienced proposal writer

·       Multi-cultural experience / Second language skills a plus
