About the role

We are looking for a Recruitment & Training Coordinator to support and oversee all the activities for Lorien Engineering.


What will you do?

Accountable for delivering recruitment activity across Lorien Engineering

Ensure stakeholders are communicated to and updated throughout the recruitment process

Direct source external talent from various job boards, networking & social media

Manage applications from internal & external candidates, ensuring each candidate has a great candidate experience, including pre-screening, interviewing and managing offers

Be an advocate for Lorien Engineering (a Division of GP Strategies) and enhance our external reputation in the market place

Become a subject matter expert to provide guidance & advice to stakeholders

Adhere to set time to hire and SLA targets

Pipeline future talent and coordinate the Lorien Graduate Training Scheme

In addition to undertaking this key role for our business, you will also be working in partnership with managers to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals

Onboard and induct new hires ensuring they hit the ground running

Assess effectiveness of training programs and determine the impact on employees skills and KPI’s



Do you have?

Previous internal recruitment experience and recruited at a senior level

Demonstrate a real passion for Resourcing, experience of graduate scheme recruitment would be advantageous

Prior experience of utilising a number of different sourcing techniques i.e. LinkedIn/Social Media/Headhunting/Referrals

Understanding of the importance of training and development

Strong communication & interpersonal skills

Excellent organisational and planning skills, with ability to work well under pressure

Good knowledge of recruitment legislation

Strong IT skills with previous experience of using an ATS system - Taleo would be ideal, although not essential
