PM - ESPO Release Manager
We are seeking a talented and experienced PM to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the release management process for Microsoft’s Learning and Development platform, ensuring the successful planning, coordination, and execution of training releases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, to drive the delivery of high-quality project, program and training releases on time and within budget. What you will do:
- Project manage operations timelines and process for milestones, ensuring business continuity and tracking deliverables to meet timelines. Identify timeline risks/blockers and collaborate with stakeholders to remove them.
- Manage cross-functional communications and collaborate with various team members to ensure comprehensive understanding of project requirements and tasks.
- Develop and maintain release management processes and procedures for Microsoft-based products and services, including program decks, project timelines, launch planning, testing, validating and documentation.
- Manage release schedules, timelines, and dependencies, identifying and mitigating risks and issues that may impact program delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholder teams on the program launch project plan, identify all areas where training and/or documentation may be needed, proactively investigate and validate ways to include automation and AI wherever possible across the release management tool ecosystem.
- Conduct program audits and validation activities to ensure program alignment to the program policies and principles and ensure a world-class Learner experience.
- Coordinate post-release activities, such as release retrospectives, lessons learned sessions, and feedback collection, to drive continuous improvement and optimization of the release management process.
- Communicate release status, progress, and updates to stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners.
- Investigate escalations by performing root cause analysis, compile findings into a summary finding with PowerPoint slides, with links to the underlying data. Make recommendations to stakeholders on any changes needed including things like training, standard operating procedures (SOP) documentation, tools and/or processes.

- Experience with managing multiple projects with tight time constraints.
