Risk and Governance Learning Consultant
We are looking for a Risk and Governance Consultant to work with our client supporting their Global Learning Operations.
You must have strong execution skills, proven decision-making abilities as well as being a critical thinker. You will be an effective communicator and able to manage stakeholders at all levels.
You will have experience in risk assessment, management, and mitigation strategies, particularly in digital or technology-driven environments.
Familiarity with governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) relevant to digital platforms would also be desirable.
You may have a background or experience in conducting audits, quality assessments, or evaluations related to learning and governance.
Deliverables:
Risk Assessment Report
· Comprehensive risk assessment identifying potential risks associated with digital platforms and learning initiatives.
· Conduct surveys and interviews with stakeholders to gather insights and evaluate risks.
Governance Framework Development
· Develop a robust governance framework tailored for digital platforms and learning solutions.
· Define roles, responsibilities, and processes for governance structures, including compliance and oversight mechanisms.
Compliance Checklists
· Standardized compliance checklists for various regulations (e.g., GDPR, FERPA).
· Create checklists that can be used to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
Policy and Procedure Manuals
· Documentation of policies and procedures related to risk management and governance.
· Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to draft and finalize manuals that guide operations.
Training Programs
· Training materials and sessions for staff on risk management and governance practices.
· Develop and conduct workshops to raise awareness and educate teams on risk mitigation strategies.
Incident Response Plan
· A detailed incident response plan outlining steps to take during a risk event.
· Create response protocols, including communication strategies and recovery processes.
Performance Metrics Dashboard
· Metrics dashboard to track risk and governance performance.
· Design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms.
Stakeholder Engagement Strategy
· Plan for engaging stakeholders in risk management processes.
· Identify key stakeholders and develop a communication plan to ensure their involvement.
Continuous Improvement Framework
· Framework for ongoing risk assessment and governance review.
· Establish a schedule for regular reviews and updates to risk management practices based on feedback and changing circumstances.
Technology Risk Evaluation
· Analysis of technology risks associated with digital platforms.
· Assess current technology stacks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
Desirable qualifications
· Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP)
· Certified Information System Auditor (CISA)
· Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
