Job Summary

· Provide technical instruction based on specified service training curriculum for technicians
- Participate in and plan a continuous 1-month rolling service training schedule, which includes entering the schedules in the Learning Management System (LMS) (Cornerstone) and closing rosters after every class
- Assist in the review, maintenance and development of curriculum, specific courses and technical education methods (Zoom, Teams, LMS, Cornerstone and more)
- Assist in the determination of core competencies, training needs and development of training action plans for dealership staff
- Manage the training center day-to-day operations and maintaining assets, such as (but not limited to) vehicles, equipment, storage and security procedures
Qualifications
· College diploma and/or equivalent work experience
- Provincial Technician’s License or Interprovincial License must be held by the applicant
- 5+ years' experience in a technical automotive position within an OEM
- Highly competent facilitation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and well organized – a continuous student of automotive technology
- Adept computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite
- Team player with the ability to build and sustain credibility with dealer and internal teams
- Must have a valid passport to travel between Canada and the United States
- A great attitude and proven ability to be an effective team leader and collaborator
- Must have the ability to work off standard hours, as required
