Job Summary:

As a 3D Generalist at GP Strategies you will play a key role in the creation of visual content by utilizing your skills in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and animation. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of artists, animators, and designers to bring creative visions to life.

Key Responsibilities:

1. 3D Modeling and Texturing:
• Create high-quality 3D models based on concept art, references, or specifications.
• Apply textures and materials to models to achieve the desired visual style.
2. Lighting and Rendering:
• Set up lighting for scenes to achieve the desired mood and atmosphere.
• Optimize rendering settings for efficiency and quality.
3. Animation:
• Develop character animations, including rigging and skinning when necessary.
• Create dynamic and visually appealing animations for characters, objects, and environments.
4. Collaboration:
• Work closely with the art director, animators, and other team members to ensure consistency and quality across the project.
• Participate in creative discussions and provide input on the visual direction of projects.
5. Problem Solving:
• Identify and address technical and artistic issues that may arise during the production process.
• Find efficient solutions to meet project requirements and deadlines.
6. Software Proficiency:
• Proficient in using industry-standard 3D software such as [list specific software, e.g., Autodesk Maya, Blender, ZBrush].
• Stay updated on the latest tools and techniques in 3D graphics.
7. Portfolio Maintenance:
• Keep a well-organized portfolio showcasing your best work.
• Continuously improve and update your skills and portfolio based on feedback and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a 3D Generalist in [relevant industry].
• Strong proficiency in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and animation.
• Knowledge of character rigging and skinning.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong artistic sense.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in 3D animations, 3D E-Learning industry.
• Familiarity with 3D software, Video editing tools (After Effects, Adobe Premiere pro).
